BOOKING CONDITIONS
 
HOTEL/TOUR RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS 
To confirm a reservation, a written confirmation will be sent and a deposit of 20% of the total value of the holiday will be required. This deposit less £100 per person is fully refundable until 6 weeks before departure. Full payment is required 10 weeks prior to departure. Travel documents will be forwarded to you 3 weeks before departure. 
METHOD OF PAYMENT 
Cash, Bank Drafts, Building Society Cheques and Credit Cards (Mastercard/Visacard). For payments paid by personal cheques please allow 10-14 days clearance. 
CANCELLATION
Cancellation by you: Any cancellation by the client must be advised to the company in writing. The following charges will be payable by the client:
42 – 29 days prior to departure - 30% of full holiday price
28 – 15 days prior to departure - 50% of full holiday price
14 – 01 days prior to departure - 75% of full holiday price
Departure date or after - 100% of full holiday price
Alteration by you: All requests for alterations to confirmed bookings must be made in writing. An amendment fee of £20 per person per alteration will be charged. Higher charges will apply if documents have already been sent.
Alteration of travel arrangements whilst abroad: No credit or refund is possible for any unused service included in the cost of the holiday. If you decide to alter your arrangements whilst abroad, SRI LANKA HOLIDAYS accepts no responsibility for any extra cost that may arise or any difficulties that may occur as a result of your alteration abroad.
CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE 
Our brochure is issued as the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator. It is not issued on behalf of and does not commit airlines mentioned therein or any airlines whose services are used in the course of the tours. The responsibility of the IATA airlines in conjunction with the tours in our brochure is limited to the carriage of passengers and their baggage in accordance with the conditions of carriage of the participating airlines. 
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT 
a) Any passports, visas, health certificates, international drivers’ licences or other travel documentation required for the holiday must be obtained by the client, whose responsibility it remains to ensure that these are all in order and to meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements.
b) No credit refund is possible for any unused services included in the basic holiday price or for any lost, mislaid or destroyed travel documentation.
c) The client is responsible for checking in at the correct time. SRI LANKA HOLIDAYS cannot accept responsibility for clients missing flights as a result of late check-ins.
d) You are strongly advised to insure against cancellation charges, medical expenses, personal accident or personal liability, loss of baggage or money, travel delay etc. 
CONSUMER PROTECTION 
The air holidays and flights in our brochure are ATOL Protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 4072. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.
